1.1 Ocean / air Freight forwarding service
Whether by air or by sea, we will do ALL shipping documentation and freight forwarding chores, for our customers. This will leave our customers with ample time to concentrate on their business and close more deals without stress.

1.2 Project Consignment service
We can specifically cater shipping and clearance services for project consignments as per customers’ requirement and specifications. You have a project and you need supply chain management, come to us. We have what it takes when it comes to project management.
1.3 Customs Clearance service
We do customs declaration for import shipments and documentation for export shipments. Customs declaration and clearance for import shipments is diligently handled by our professional and experienced staff to make sure we do correct declarations every time. Personal effects declaration and clearance is also done as per customer’s requirement. We also arrange with bonded warehouses for bonded cargo.
1.4 Transit clearance and transportation to Eastern, Southern and Central African countries
We declare, clear, insure and transport transit cargo to eastern, southern and central African countries. These countries include Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, DR Congo, Zambia, Malawi, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique

1.5 Cargo handling for both import and export
We receive cargo in good condition. We arrange for cargo verification which include quality and quantity inspection. Arranging for fumigation can be done if required by either the customer or authorities at load port or discharge port. We arrange for cargo stuffing into containers and sealing of containers after inspection by customs officers or other relevant parties. We can also obtain all necessary permits for export or import on behalf of our customers upon request.
1.6 Documentation for both import and export cargo
We do space booking on vessels for export and import cargo on behalf of our customers. We do declarations for import cargo which include obtaining release and delivery orders. We even do documentation for export cargo which includes sending shipping instructions to shipping lines and obtaining Bill of Lading and dispatching same to place of delivery.

1.7 Trading agency
We can source cargo from suppliers/vendors on behalf of buyers/end-users. We communicate with abroad business partners, sign purchase contracts on behalf of abroad buyers and receive L/C’s on behalf of suppliers/vendors. Finally, we arrange shipments to destinations as per buyers’/customers’ requirements. Through trading agency, we ensure that suppliers/vendors and buyers/end-users can trade in a secure platform without stress.
1.8 Warehousing service
We can arrange for storage, sorting, labeling and re-labeling, palletizing, shrink wrapping, fumigation & disinfection, container stuffing and devanning for our customers. During the whole process, we keep ensuring security of the warehouse facility and ultimately our customer’s cargo in the warehouse.
1.9 Customs bonded warehousing service
We safely transfer cargo to customs bonded warehouses after completing all necessary formalities required by authorities.

Who are we?

Kilenga Holdings Ltd. was incorporated in Tanzania in 1995 under Companies Ordinance (Cap 212) as a private limited liability company with the main objective of doing among other things the business of clearing and forwarding for both import and export customers. The company has her head offices at the heart of Dar es Salaam city, Samora Avenue, in Acacia building’s 3rd Floor.
